2 months

Our little love turned 2 months old this past week, and in case I don't tell you enough about her, here is some more!

Weight: 5.38 kilos (which is a little under 12 pounds)
Height: 59 cm (a bit over 23 in)
Clothes: mostly 0-3 size, and some 3-6
Diapers: size 3 (I'm not sure what size in the US)

Development:
Georgia is smiling tons and will give strangers smiles, especially if they smile at her first. She has not laughed yet, but we are eagerly awaiting that moment! She is great at mimicking faces that Dave and I make at her, and will stick her tongue out and smile at us when we do it first.
She is also developing more head support (as you can see from the picture above!). She has great control over her head when she is being held or set upright. She cannot hold her head up much when doing tummy time, but can turn her head back and forth.
She seems to have discovered her hands, and can often be found looking at them and trying to put them (both, at the same time) into her mouth. When she finally succeeds at this, she often has a pained look on her face - maybe she ends up hurting herself when she bites them?
She is just beginning to show interest in holding onto things. She will hold fingers for a few moments, and will grab onto toys placed near her hands. This is all still on accident. She still seems to have very little interest in toys.

Sleep/Feeding:
She is beginning to sleep more and more at night. She normally sleeps 12-14 hours a night (minus the times she's up feeding), going to bed around 7 and getting up usually around 8am. The last few nights she's done an 8-hour stretch at night and gets up twice to eat. She has been taking about 4 naps a day, one after each feed. The naps go anywhere from half an hour to an hour and a half. She really does seem to love her sleep, which is great for us! She eats every 2-3 hours during the day and usually twice during the night. We are breastfeeding and she probably has 8 "meals" a day.

We are so in love with her! She really is a great kid - thank you Lord for such a wonderful blessing!
