Half a year

Six months ago Georgia came into this world. It has been a crazy (but good) 6 months - new house in a new country and a new baby!
can you believe it?!

Weight: 16 lbs, 1 oz (we're loosing percentages... just under 50th now)
Clothing: sizes 6-12 and some 6 month
Diaper size: 4 (again, different from the States sizes)

This month she has grown up so much. I know I say that every month, but is starting to seem like a little toddler, rather than a baby.

Georgia now rolls everywhere. She rolls very easily both directions, and will roll all the way across the floor to go wherever she wants. She still does not sit by herself (well, she can for about 2 seconds). Everytime I try to put her into a sitting position she straightens her legs, wanting to stand. She can stand with minimal help from mom and dad and will "walk" around if you hold onto her hands.

Georgia loves playing with anything she can get her hands on. She especially likes mommy and daddy's "toys" - the remote control, our computers, and our phones.

She is now eating two meals (usually) a day of solids. She has done quite a few flavors and likes most of them. She especially likes to feed herself, using the mesh feeder. We think that she is gluten intolerant like her daddy.  We'll have to do a bit more testing to make sure, but we tried some wheat cereal this week and she was not herself for the rest of the day.

We are still breastfeeding. It is definitely difficult as Georgia would much rather explore the world than eat. I don't think she's eating as much as she should be, but she is continuing to gain weight (although slowly) so we will increase her solid foods .

Her nap schedule has changed quite drastically. She now takes two, maybe three naps a day. She sleeps 10-11 hours at night, and gets up between 6 and 7 en la manana. Thankfully her naps are longer, but it is a chore to get her to take a third nap in the afternoon (which I'd like because then she can go to bed a bit later and wake up later in the morning, hopefully!)

I have more pictures to put up, but its late here, so I'm off to bed!
Happy 6 months, Georgia!
